An open letter for you who is at the verge of giving up

Maybe you’re tired. Maybe you’re all fed up with life’s disappointments and discouragements. Maybe you’re sick of failing in almost everything that you do. Maybe you’re tired of always failing to reach other people’s expectations of you. I don’t know you, but if nobody has ever told you today, then I want to be the first one to tell you, GOOD JOB. 🙂 And dear, I want to assure you three things today:

1. You dont have to please anybody but God.

Trying to make everyone proud of you will always be tiring. It will never end, of course. And if you will not stop trying to please everyone, soon enough you will forget how it is to be the real you. You will lose all your strength and if nobody notices your did, you will end up with nothing but disappointments. But right now, I want to tell you that it is not your responsibility to please everyone. As long as you know that you’ve already done your part, with the best intentions, that’s it. Your work is done there. And guess what, God is pleased. He is pleased every time He sees you doing things with all your heart. He is pleased whenever you try new things because you want to discover more of His power. He is pleased whenever you give up things that do not honor Him no matter how important they are to you because you are secured in Him.

2. Your works are not in vain.

Every tear, every pain, and every hurt is counted. God saw them all. Nothing is hidden to Him. Every night, when you were crying to sleep because of life’s unending disappointments, because of the discouragements that you hear from other people, God saw you. He saw all your tears. And every pain and hurt that you are enduring, I want you to know that Jesus felt them all first. And He endured all the pain and hurt for you. He did it all for you. You don’t have to say that nobody understands your pain because God does. He sees your situation and only He can fix it. He is just waiting for you to surrender all your hurts to Him. He has always been there. He was there when you thought nobody appreciated your achievements. He was there when nobody commended the great things you have done. He was there, and He is proud of you.

3. You don’t have to fight your battles alone.

All of us have our own battles to face. And maybe, you have come to that point when you thought yours are the heaviest and most difficult to deal with. But God is telling you that you don’t have to fight your battles alone because He will fight with you. He alone can bring your battles into countless victories. No matter how low you think of your self, God sees your abilities far beyond what you already know. You are destined for greatness. You don’t have to settle for anything less than that of what God has already prepared for you long time ago. If ever you are in the midst of a tough battle right now, keep on fighting, because God is able to turn all your scars, pain, and hurt into beauty and victory. He is able to restore everything that the enemy has tried to steal from you; may it be your joy, your confidence, your relationship with people, your faith. Nothing is unreachable by His power and greatness.

God loves you so much. It hurts Him to see you crying and getting hurt over and over again. Put your trust in Him. Surrender your hurt and pain to Him and He will replace them with the joy, peace, healing and confidence that comes from Him.
