You are Bought with a Price

Yes, you read it just right. You are certainly and definitely bought with a price. So please, stop looking down on your self as if you are the loneliest, because you’re not. Someone loves you so much! He even went here to prove it. How? By dying for you.
I might have mentioned this a lot of times already in my recent blogs, but I want to assure you that I will never get tired of reminding you that there is Someone who never ceases to love you, and that is no other than Jesus, the Author of love Himself.

I certainly have no idea what situation you are in right now. You might have just got home from a friend’s birthday party, mourning for a recent heartbreak, or you just had your graduation picture. I don’t know, but I want to tell you that He saw everything. He saw all your hardworks and efforts. Even those that you did behind the curtain. All of the things that you did without anyone to witness them, God saw it all. He saw all your sacrifices. He knows every important thing that you have given up for the people that you love. He knew how you hesitated to give it all up because He also knows how important they were to you, and God wants you to know that He is proud of you, and He has something even greater and better for you. Do not worry. Do not be anxious, God says, for He is about to give you things that are far beyond your expectations. You really just need to give your complete trust to Him.

He also saw you when you were crying your self to sleep at night; when you thought you were all alone, when you thought there’s no one left who cares enough for you. He was there. He saw all your tears and oh how He wanted to wipe all of them if you hadn’t closed the doors of your heart; if you hadn’t locked you self to drown in sorrow and pain. You thought He just stood there, watching you, but He didn’t. During those times, He embraced you with His arms so full of love and concern even if you didn’t ask Him to; even if you forgot about Him, how He’s always there to accept you as you run to Him first whenever you’re hurt but instead, you forgot about Him. He doesn’t want to see you like that. If you only know how precious you are in His eyes. If you only know how great your importance to Him is, maybe then you’ll stop letting other people hurt you.

You are bought with a price. You were not claimed by Jesus for free. He first had to pay the most expensive price to have you, and that was His own life. His death on the cross was the most perfect love made in action, and He did it all for you.

He did it despite everything that you have done against Him. He did it despite all those times when you denied Him. He died for you no matter how sinful and imperfect you are. I want you to think of all the possible reasons why a God, so perfect, so powerful and so great, would transfigure into a human being and die to redeem the people who betrayed Him. None? You can’t think of even a single reason why you deserve that kind of sacrifice, because the truth is there’s none, but Jesus, being loving and gracious, didn’t require any reason for Him to love you. He just does. It’s that simple, and I assure you that you will never find the same kind of that love here on earth. No matter how hard you try to seek, you will never find someone who can give you the same pure and perfect love that Jesus has for you.

So stop letting other people take your heart piece-by-piece until you’re left with nothing. Instead, guard your heart because it belongs to Jesus. He feels all your pain. Whenever you are hurting, He is hurting with you. He once became a man, and He has gone through all the pain, hurt and suffering that the world has to offer. Whatever suffering you are into right now, I want you to know that Jesus has already felt that before, and He is always willing to embrace you until all your tears, all the hurt, and all the pain are gone.

Please do not put Jesus’ sacrifice more than 2000 years ago into waste by letting your self be broken by other people over and over again. You can show your gratefulness by giving importance to your emotions and value. You are a child of the King. You are loved by the Author of love Himself, and you were bought with a price.
